Lone Peak, which trailed 10-0 at halftime, had taken a 14-10 lead with 4:28 remaining when Talmage Gunther hit Tyson Doman on a 8-yard TD pass. The two hooked up again on the two-point conversion for a three-point edge.
After stopping Herriman on the next possession, Lone Peak had the lead and the ball but was stuffed on a three-and-out and forced to punt. Herriman then put together an eight-play scoring drive that covered 57 yards in 1:49.
Lone Peak finished 13-1. Among those victories was a 30-0 drubbing of Herriman in the region title, but the outcome was much different with the state title up for grabs.

During each regular Council meeting, there will be a time for public comment. Citizens requesting to address the Council will be asked to complete a written comment form and present it to the City Recorder.
Generally, the chairman will allow an individual two minutes to address the Council. A spokesman recognized as representing a group in attendance, may be allowed up to five minutes. At the conclusion of the citizen comment time, the chairman may direct staff to assist the citizen on the issue presented; direct the citizen to the proper administrative department(s); or take no action. This policy also applies to all public hearings. Citizens may also submit written requests (outlining their issue) for an item to be considered at a future council meeting.
